Privacy

Gori is a reading service. To write you anything at all, it needs to know when and where you were born. This page says exactly what is kept, why, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect

• Birth details — date, time (if you know it), and the city you were born in. This is the whole basis of the service. Without it there is no chart.
• Account details from Google — your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID. We ask Google only for these.
• What you bought — credits purchased and reports generated, so you can read them again.

We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or anything you did not type in. There are no advertising trackers on this site.

Why we keep it

• Birth details: to calculate your chart and write your readings.
• Account details: to know it is you when you come back, and to contact you about a purchase.
• Purchases and reports: to show you your own history and to handle refunds.

Who else sees it

• Google — for signing in, and for Google Analytics, which tells us which pages people visit. Google never receives your birth details, your chart, or anything Gori wrote for you. Analytics is switched off entirely on shared reading pages, because those addresses are themselves private.
• The model that writes your reading — your chart positions and the day are sent to a language model provider so it can write the text. Your name and email are not sent.
• Dodo Payments — our merchant of record. They process payment and hold the card details. We never see your card number.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long

We keep your account and readings until you delete them. When you delete your account it stops being available immediately and we stop using it. Write to us within 30 days and we can bring it back; after that the birth details, chart and readings are erased. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires — that is not something we are allowed to delete on request.

Your choices

• See everything we hold about you on your profile page.
• Correct your birth details at any time — the chart is recalculated.
• Ask us to delete your account and everything in it.
• Ask for a copy of your data in a readable format.

If you are in the EU or UK, these are your GDPR rights. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you similar ones. Either way, write to support@goriastrology.com and we will do it.

Age

This service is not for children. Do not use it if you are under 16, or under 13 in the United States. If we learn an account belongs to a child we delete it.

Cookies

One cookie to remember that you are signed in, and Google Analytics cookies that count visits. No advertising cookies, and nothing that follows you to other sites.

Who is responsible

Gori is the data controller for everything described here. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, who is the seller of record and the controller for the payment data they hold.
